Philosophy
Our primary mission is to save lives and reduce injuries caused by alcohol and other drug-related highway accidents. We aim to intervene in the progression of addiction and assist the participants with recovery. Exposure to 12-step recovery is an essential component to give treatment a fighting chance to break the denial that is so much an entrenched part of the addiction dynamic.
Examining our relationship with Addictive Substances
The Lucky Deuce DUI/DDP Program focuses on exploring our interactions with drugs, alcohol, and other addictive actions that negatively impact our lives. We delve into five fundamental questions: What substances do we use? How much of these substances do we use? Why do we use them? Are they leading to negative outcomes? And, do we wish to keep facing these negative outcomes? Our program provides Education and Group Processing Classes aimed at highlighting the risks of driving under the influence and illustrating how our decisions, whether positive or negative, affect our lives.
